Becoming a primary teacher involves developing your knowledge and confidence in many subjects; some familiar and some less so.

We are here to help primary trainee teachers navigate the exciting world of computing, and to give you everything you might need to deliver excellent lessons. How do I plan a lesson?

Each unit in the Teach Computing Curriculum has lesson plans, slides, resources and assessment materials. The content is free, and provided in formats for you to adapt them to meet the needs of your learners.

How do I teach computing?

Join the Empowering trainee teachers: Introduction to primary computing course – a comprehensive introduction to primary computing for trainees. This CPD will support you with easy to use resources, lesson planning, hands-on experience and classroom management in computing lessons.
